2) DAVID WARD – Seemingly unencumbered by the usual conventions, there’s a surprise around every corner with David. His music has been labeled a “rare, bold foray into melodic experimentation”, both “stunning and poetic”.

3) KATE MORGAN – At just 16 years of age, Kate was the Lilith Fair Tour’s youngest performer! Now 18, Kate has relocated from Kamloops to Vancouver BC where she continues to pursue music as a career and lifestyle; closer to her band, fellow writers and producers.

HeatWave opened for KRS-One November 17th at Fortune Club

October 29th, 2011-The Vandettas are participating in an all ages event  Saturday October 29th at the Ukranian Cultural Center! This should be an amazing day of music and celebrating all things Van City. We’re scheduled to go on at 1:00 pm-look forward to seeing you there! Who we are

The Vandettas is a collaboration of Vancouver artists making their mark on the global music scene. Heatwave and Lamar Ashe of Killawatt records along with accomplished drummer Eric Breitenbach and  stellar keyboardist Stefania Mazzuco came together in the Winter of of 2010 to create an innovative fusion of Hip hop, Indie and soul that is making waves in the local scene. WIth their performance schedule heating up and their first album in the works the Vandettas are gaining momentum. Come be a part of this movement and join us in celebrating Vancity’s music scene.
