Stefania Mazzucco
Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Stefania Mazzucco is a professional and versatile Canadian pianist specialized in performance, composition, arranging and production. Known for her dynamic skills on the keys, she demands attention on stage, seen through the passion on her face and heard through her improvisational climaxes, stemming from her Jazz piano roots. Stefania completed her Bachelor of Music (Jazz Studies) Degree, Performance Diploma and Arranging/Composing Diploma in Toronto, Ontario Canada in 2005. Recently, she has complemented her Bachelor of Music with a Bachelor of Music-Education from the University of British Columbia, where upon she was awarded the 2011 Donald C Gibbard Prize in Music Education. Stefania enjoys performing and creating all styles and genres of Western music. Her original songs, scores and arrangements have been featured in film, TV commercials, websites and live performance. Her first album, “Filmless Score”, was written, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Stefania in March of 2006. In June 2006, Stefania joined Killawatt Records, working alongside Red1 from the Ralscalz, DJ Kemo and Halifax R&B singing sensation Lamar Ashe. Stefania had the wonderful privilege of touring with Lamar Ashe when they opened for K’naan on his 2009 Troubadour Tour across Western Canada. Later that year, Stefania joined local and talented Hip Hop artist Heatwave, Vancouver based drummer, songwriter and producer Eric Breitenbach and innovative guitarist Joshua Parrett to develop the live Hip Hop group Heatwave and the Vandettas. Working for Killawatt Records and joining Heatwave and the Vandettas led to other Canadian artists wanting to work and perform with Stefania and since 2009 she has recorded with Drip City producers Marc Nyiti, as well as HipHop artist and producer Concise the Black Knight. In 2010, Stefania reached a milestone in her career, joining Canadian legend, Ryan Dahle, as keyboardist in his band and collaborative studio-song writer and arranger for Limblifter Records.
Stefania’s studio is located in Vancouver, BC, Canada and she accepts long distance projects.
